The Center’s mission is to provide a high-quality early childhood education program for the children of the Greater Danbury area’s neediest families so they are properly prepared to enter kindergarten. The Action Early Learning Center strives to enable its students and their families to achieve their full potential by providing an environment that offers cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative activities for children while improving the parents’ life skills through workshops and parent education opportunities.

The Action Early Learning Center offers many services to its pupils’ families. A high quality education is provided to children while their parents are working, enrolled in job training programs, or attending school. The Center works closely with parents to give them a better understanding of a child’s development and methods that can help a child learn. A full intake procedure enables the Center’s staff to build awareness of community services, CACD services, and services offered by other agencies or state agencies that may benefit the parents.
The Action Early Learning Center strives to create a love of learning in all its pupils while also working with parents to provide them with a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Children from low-income backgrounds need all the advantages possible and starting out with a good education as a foundation and continuing that education process improves a child’s chance to achieve self-sufficiency later in life.
