At LPLC, we believe that all children are unique individuals. We believe that if children are put into a positive and nurturing learning environment, they will grow to be the best that they can be.
We provide students with developmentally appropriate activities to help them grow. These daily activities help to create a positive learning environment where all children, no matter what level they are at, will continue to grow at their own individual pace in the areas of social, emotional, and cognitive development.
At LPLC, we believe that children learn through their own experiences. We believe that the children should ask questions and try to find a solution to their question by testing their solution that they came up with. We believe that it is important for children to be individual thinkers, as well as, being able to work together as a team.
LPLC believes that parents play an important/vital role in the success of their childs education. We encourage parents to take part in the various functions/activities that LPLC offers. We also have an open door policy which allows family members to come in and see what their child is learning each day. We also strive to have open communication on a daily basis with each family. Open communication is the lifeline between our teachers and the families that attend LPLC. We feel that communication is the key to a successful relationship not only between the child and teacher, but also, between the teacher and the parents.
