Ready, Set, Grow

Ready, Set, Grow is a family owned and operated child care center. Judy Monaco began the center as a licensed home child care in 1993. Prior to this, she was the owner and director of The Little Gingerbread House in Oak Lawn. Opening another center was always a goal for Judy. In 2005, Judy’s daughter Beth Orr, graduated with her BA in Early Childhood Education. It was at this point, that this mother and daughter team began actively looking for a location to open a child care center. In July of 2008, Ready, Set Grow opened its doors. It began with the enrollment of the 12 children from Judy’s home child care, and quickly grew to over 70 part time and full time children enrolled in just 2 years!
