Y's Time at Bethlehem Area YMCA

The YMCA is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit mind and body for all.

YMCA services in the Capital Region of New York State have affected the spirit mind and body of people for more than 150 years. The 1990 forming of the Capital District YMCA signified a resurgence of those expected high quality services with the union of its parts in Albany Glenville Schenectady Troy and its camping branch on Lake George. The addition in 1991 of the Southern Saratoga County YMCA the Guilderland YMCA in 2000 and the 2002 opening of the East Greenbush YMCA along with the extensive capital and programmatic expansion has reiterated the YMCA’s commitment to the children families seniors and communities in it’s service area.
