A Plus Kids

Located in northwest Denver, A Plus Kids is a full-day, year-round program that operates from 7am 6pm Monday through Friday and serves children ranging in age from one year old to 6th grade. The school utilizes a theme-based, Sing and Read curriculum developed by the Frog Street Press corporation. While currently a limited amount of instruction is done in Spanish, A Plus Kids is seeking funding to move to a completely bilingual program. Some of the other highlights of A Plus Kids include: spacious classrooms, an outdoor playground, a summer gardening program, and school transportation throughout northwest Denver (for the older kids). A Plus Kids does accept CCAP funding, and its food program consists of breakfast, lunch, and a snackall provided daily.
