Brighter Future Learning Center

Our center is a developmental center, using the standards of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Colorado Core Knowledge Standards and the Pyramid Plus Model for Social and Emotional Development as the core of our educational philosophy. The main ideology is to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that focuses on relationships, experiences and environment to teach children. By focusing on these elements we instill confidence, build self esteem and encourage children to be themselves while teaching the skills needed to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond.

The High Reach Learning Curriculum is used in all of our classrooms from toddler through our school age programs. High Reach Learning Curriclum uses the Head Start outcomes in addition to Piaget, Brofenbrenner and Maslow early childhood development theories to create a comprehensive curriculum that supports development in all areas, Cognitive(Intelligence), Creative (Art), Language (Literacy), Physical (Kinistetic),Problem Solving (Math), Social and Emotional (Self Control and Friendship Skills), in a comprehensive curriculum that uses intentional play based activities to teach. We complete assessments to ensure children are reaching important developmental milestones and for school readiness skills. We can offer referrals and assistance for children who may need to be challenged or supported in their learning environment.
