Little People Learning Center has been serving Downers Grove and surrounding communities for over 20 years; providing care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. This Center is privately owned and offers small classrooms to provide teachers more opportunity to give your child the individual care they deserve. Little People is located one block from the Belmont Train Station in Downers Grove Illinois. We are conveniently located minutes away from I-355, I-88 and Ogden Avenue.
The Center is licensed by the State of Illinois, for 52 children. at our Center, we enroll the family not just the child. Our smaller Center allows all of us to keep a more personal relationship with parents and children. This Center is a year-round school, offering a developmentally appropriate curriculum with the philosophy of “play with a purpose”. The summer months are filled with outdoor play, field trips, speciality days, and special events.

Your child’s safety and security is a top priority. We select our teachers based on their backgrounds, and education. Staff have background checks and are fingerprinted prior to employment. Our facility is secured by a coded locked entrance, classrooms are camera monitored, and the outdoor facility is private and fenced. The building is fully alarmed to the local fire department. Staff are trained in first aid and CPR.
