Mayo Nursery School is a cooperative preschool where your child will explore the classroom while interacting with friends, teachers and parents. Our school is run by an elected Executive Board of parents in cooperation with the teacher. Parents are actively involved in all phases of the of the school which includes assisting in the classroom.
There is an emphasis on learning to share, exchanging ideas, listening, and learning classroom routines in preparation for entering elementary school.
At MNS, we believe in learning through play and strive to make the overall educational experience a fun one so your child will look forward to coming to school!

?Mayo Nursery School strives to create an atmosphere in which your childs natural curiosity is enhanced and encouraged through guided and open-ended activities.
The play-based curriculum is built around the childrens emerging interests and sense of wonder. Three-year olds are encouraged to safely explore his/her world physically, emotionally and intellectually; while there is an emphasis on educational skills with our four-year olds to help them prepare for kindergarten.
All classes are structured in a manner of constructive play helping to instill self-esteem and making it enjoyable to learn.
