ECW Preschool believes in using natural consequences redirection verbalization of emotions and time-outs when discipline becomes necessary. We believe children mature and learn responsibility best when they are held accountable for their actions. We also believe discipline is most effective when there is an atmosphere of mutual respect and caring between the child and staff member. At no time will children receive physical punishment nor be shamed humiliated or frightened by any staff member or volunteer in our school. Our center participates in a federally funded food program. We offer all enrolled children a nutritious breakfast lunch and afternoon snack.
