Hello and welcome to our marvelous school! My name is Cindy and I am the Academy Director. I hold a bachelors degree in Education with a minor in Special Education and a kindergarten endorsement. I have more than 20 years of experience as an educator something Im very proud of. La Petite Academy provides Elkhart with first-rate child care and early childhood education.
We are a part of Indianas Paths To QUALITY Program. We currently have a Level Two rating and are working on completing our Level Three rating.
We provide a range of opportunities for children to explore learn and grow adhering to the highest standards of excellence and care. More than half our teachers have degrees or certifications and all our teachers receive at least 20 hours of continuing education each year. We also have an American Red Cross CPR and first-aid instructor on our staff.

Our academy provides children a safe secure and loving environment in which to grow learn and play. Our staff members are dedicated early childhood professionals and committed to our school offering a variety of hands-on daily activities. We value the relationships we have with our families and encourage parents to volunteer in the classroom and help on field trips. We also host a number of fun events for our families including parents nights out Fall Festival and Holiday Festival. Child safety is a priority at La Petite Academy and our facility is completely secure. Parents must use a code to enter the building. People who dont have the code may only be let in by a member of management and we always check identification for anyone we dont recognize.
