Emporia YMCA Child Care Center

The YMCA offers Pre-school for children ages 3-4. The program is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services and features Creative Curriculum, a nationally recognized, research-backed curriculum that emphasize a hands-on, learn-by-play approach. Children receive individualized learning, structured daily schedules, morning and afternoon snacks and positive reinforcement.

School-Age Childcare

The YMCA offers School-Age Child Care for children ages 5-12. The program is licensed by the Virginia Department of Soil Services and includes before and after school care. Upon arriving at the YMCA, the kids receive a healthy snack, are assisted with their homework, participate in character value activities, have physical fitness time, and have access to the playground, computers, and creative play stations.
