The Montessori method of teaching has been widely accepted around the world for over 90 years. At a Montessori school, a child isn’t constrained to learn exactly what the teacher has chosen for them on any particular day. Instead, the teacher observes each child and helps point them in a direction that will satisfy their developmental needs.

If the learning experience is to occur naturally and joyfully, it must be made available at the proper moment for the individual child. New learning experiences are introduced using specialized Montessori supplies to engage each child in learning.

Children are driven to become independent and competent beings in the world. They love to master new skills and progress best at their own pace. At Montessori, children can usually move about freely, however reasonable limits of behavior are taught and kindness and respect are always encouraged.
