Horizon Child Development Center School for Early Learning

The programs taught at Horizon were thoughtfully developed to meet the needs and learning styles of every little mind. They are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect the latest in research, and to surpass current educational standards.

Quite simply, we believe wholeheartedly in the success of every child. We set high academic standards because we know that all children learn to their greatest potential when challenged and encouraged by dedicated teachers. Every member of our staff is devoted to this mission.

We also know that children learn best when they feel safe and cared for; and so, we love them, cuddle and feed them, and keep them safe and warm. We read and sing and play with them, then watch them grow strong little bodies full of spirit and curiosity to learn about themselves and their world.

Finally, we also know that it takes more than a bright mind and an able body to live a happy and purposeful life. Enlightened men like Benjamin Franklin and Martin Luther King long ago taught the world that a true education is achieved not just by acquiring knowledge, but also through growing in character.

That is why, with every lesson taught from a book, we strive to teach our students those important life lessons that build character and nurture the spirit. They learn to care for others. They learn to accept responsibility for the choices they make. They learn to respect God and country, others, and themselves. and they learn to persevere, because it takes time and endurance to achieve worthy goals.
