The Goddard School

At The Goddard School we strive to provide the highest quality of service to the children and families we serve. Our family-owned School opened in November of 1998. We are the proud owners of The Goddard School located on Oak Road in Westfield as well as our location in Southport. As on-site owners we are very proud of our Schools because they offer the best preschool opportunity available to children.

My name is Ray I am one of the on-site owners. My background is in business. I have owned several businesses in the past 15 years. Each of our schools strive to be the very best. My wife Kathryn and I have three children together. I like to go to the Colts football games in my free time.

Our hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Our program offers care for children as young as six weeks to six years of age. We offer a variety of full-time and part-time programs so you are able to choose the best schedule for your child and your family. We communicate with parents through Daily Activity Reports in addition to talking with parents every day! At Goddard all activities are open-ended so each child may participate at their own level. We share a progress report with parents twice a year at Parent-Teacher Conferences and parents are able to see their child’s growth and development through portfolios.

Our state-of-the-art facility was designed with your child’s health and safety in mind as well as easy access to all learning materials for the children. We even have a special Exploration Room for the children to enjoy and learn. Children can work at computers or just let their imaginations work in one of the learning centers available in the Exploration Room.

Our School provides children with a safe loving and nurturing environment where they build self-confidence and independence. We provide a learning environment which allows self-expression through creative media dramatic play music storytelling block building and other forms of play. We provide your child with a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities which will encourage a Lifelong Love of Learning. Through open communication between parents teachers children and management we provide children with an environment which will allow them to reach their potential.
