Our mission is to provide quality private education for the middle income family. We strive to provide affordable yet competitive programs for our students. We offer a stimulating academic program stressing the basics in an informal and creative setting with great teachers. Our budget is focused on the most important aspects of education: the teachers and materials.
Our goal is to help students achieve their full human potential explore their talents and grow in their ability to think and act responsibly. Most importantly our philosophy is to develop a positive attitude towards learning. School should be fun and exciting not overcrowded or filled with hours of homework every night.
Harvard students spend more time in the classroom. There are not as many teacher planning days and holidays as the public schools. There is little tolerance for behavioral problems and a manageable class size is one of our greatest assets.
Our teachers are the most important component to our success. They are caring and devoted to their profession. All teachers are certified graduates of an accredited four-year institution and have spent time teaching at Harvards pre-school.
Harvard is more than a school we are like an extended family. We offer individual attention and a caring atmosphere to our students something public school can never accomplish. Open lines of communication are a major priority here.
Parents never need an appointment to speak with our administrators and are permitted to review our curriculum. We want an open fun and loving environment for our students. As administrators teachers and parents our satisfaction is the joy on the childrens faces when they are exciting about learning. These early years of schooling are the foundation of their educational career we must ensure that they start off right.

The Core Knowledge Foundation the base of our curriculum believes that there should be a common vision of what students know and their skills. The Core Knowledge curriculum offers a clearly marked path for consistent student progress year by year. Its forte is its specificity. After reviewing their scope and sequence compared to the State of Floridas we are confident your child will be better prepared to excel in their academic careers. It is more challenging and subsequently more interesting for the students. Attached are samples from the program as well as lesson plans that show how in-depth studies are in various subjects. The Core curriculum is 50% of the program the remainder is an integration of the Sunshine State Standards which is what the Broward County Public School District uses. Given the right size class our students will absorb much more material faster and with better retention.
