The Enterprise Children’s Learning Center started as The Butler Family Day Care in 2003. Whereas the capacity has grown, the classrooms at ECLC continue to be small and intimate setting with 1 teacher and 1 aid. It is the staff’s job to ensure that all children recieve the individualized attention needed to ensure a healthy academic progression and development. I have been in the educational field since 1995. In 2009 I wrote and published my first children’s picture book Pancakes on a Saturday Morning. I have been privledged to work with at-risk high school students, I have worked in a traditional Montessori environment, and I have worked in an accrediated preschool. All of these experiences have awarded me the opportunity to open and run a successful day care where teaching is encouraged and the staff ensure that children are properly prepared for the experiences of Pre-K/Kindergarten.
The staff of Enterprise Children’s Learning Center focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the childs development, self esteem and confidence

The Enterprise Children’s Learning Center provides enriched care for students between the ages of 2 to 5 years of age. ECLC’s philosophy is to provide a curriculum that will develop the individual child on an independent basis. Children should have the freedom to develop at their own pace and not be judged based on their peers.
The class rooms provide self-corrective manipulatives, which stimulate multi-sensory skills, develops small and large motor skills, builds hand-eye coordination, encourages movement, and allows the child to explore through play. On a daily basis children will embrace math, language, science, music, art, physical education, and practical life skills.
Parent involvement is a crucial part of developing a well- rounded child. I encourage parents to parents to stop in and ask questions about the skills and development of their child’s young educational career.
