Occasionally we are alarmed by a student age 5-12 who will mention something they learned about The Bible and the information is completely erroneous. When we ask where they received the information they tell us they learned about it on the history channel. Please be very cautious about what your child sees on television. It’s not just the obvious channels that can lead our children astray. We haven’t seen one program on the history channel that was accurate when it comes to anything related to The Bible. This makes us concerned about any other programs they broadcast as well but that isn’t in our area of expertise. The Bible is however and we suggest that you steer your children to more reliable sources for The Bible the most important history book.
