Learn & Play Montessori School

Learn and Play Montessori School is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS) and is a member of the Bay Area Montessori Association (BAMA). Learn and Play Montessori School is open to children ages 2 through 6 offering full day and half day Pre-school and Kindergarten programs.

Our goal is to give each child the individualized attention needed to learn discover and develop values such as respect for self/others honesty integrity responsibility empathy compassion and kindness. We achieve this goal by keeping small classroom sizes. Learn and Play Montessori School’s teacher to student ratio is 1:12.

At Learn and Play Montessori School we value each child’s independence and creativity. Thus by following the philosophy practices and curriculum of Dr. Maria Montessori and her method of education children work on activities of their own choice at their own pace. They experience the opportunity to solve problems learn play and develop freedom and self-discipline in a place especially designed to meet their developmental needs.
