Sending your child to our School may better prepare him or her for later school years and life experiences. Our qualified faculty includes teachers trained in Early Childhood Development who can provide each child with the finest instruction locally available. Your child will learn to build positive healthy relationships with his/her peers and with adults in an atmosphere where problem-solving creative-thinking and positive attitudes are encouraged. Your child is taught to be self-sufficient through self-help skills which is a part of our curriculum. Our children learn through a balance of teacher-directed and child-directed activities. Classroom spaces incorporate various learning centers including those for science art math & cognitive skills reading and dramatic play. Our School also features a computer laboratory. Activity is important and planned exercise periods are scheduled throughout the day. We have a wellness and exercise program (B.A.S.E) and offer Yoga as part of our daily programming. The Goddard School located in Crestview Hills seeks to enhance and nurture each child’s strengths and competencies. Our philosophy is that we teach to the individual child and not the group as a whole. A portfolio is developed for each child that chronicles his/her progress and is reviewed with families during parent/teacher conferences. However we advocate daily communication between teachers and parents to ensure that we are setting consistent goals and working together to achieve all objectives.
