Abacus Learning Center

Abacus Learning Center opened the doors for the first day of school back in September of 1994. It has been owned and operated by Sharon Jacobs since it first began. We are located in Haile Plantation in the Haile Village Center. We offer full day and part day programs to accommodate the needs of all types of families.
Abacus Learning Center believes young children learn best through personal experiences. The staff promotes a balanced curriculum of both child-initiated and teacher-initiated experiences. The primary goal of the staff is the all-around development of the child.
Abacus Learning Centers preschool features the following as part of our comprehensive program:

A preschool environment for children two to five years of age that nurtures growth physically socially emotionally and intellectually.
A part time or full time program to meet the needs of the family.
A well-trained caring and enthusiastic staff.
Entertaining and educational field trips for the three year olds and four year olds.
Positive social guidance and discipline techniques.
A cheerful safe and bright facility with plenty of developmentally appropriate equipment and outdoor play space.
A thorough school readiness curriculum that consists of art music gross motor and fine motor development good citizenship socialization and of course academics.
Cooperative communication with parents.
An open door policy: Parents are encouraged to voice any comments or concerns to both teachers and directors.
