Firewheel Montessori Academy

Firewheel Montessori Academy is located in the prime Firewheel District in the North Garland area very close to the Firewheel Mall. We are located on a two acre plus stretch of land that is safe and secure for the children and in an beautiful family oriented neighborhood. The school is open and inviting to the children and provided a very conducive environment for learning. Each classroom has large windows and they are very well lit and spacious. All the rooms have observation windows where parents can come and observe their children in a classroom setting.

The school is built to provide learning for children starting as young as 6 weeks to 6 years and an afterschool program for children to 12 years. We offer multiple age appropriate play areas. We have a dedicated computer lab and library multiple gardening areas. We cook and serve fresh nutritious balanced food in our commercial kitchen. The menu is presented to the parents at the beginning of each month and we offer an alternate vegetarian plan.

Our school calendar runs with parallel with the Garland ISD. The school year starts with the GISD year and ends with the same. We offer a year round program and in Summer we offer an exciting and knowledge focused program that provides fun and learning to our students. We get various shows and in-house activities in the school rather than taking the children to them.

Our after school program is also structured and well organized offering children learning time. There is no television time at our school.

We offer Computers Spanish Art Craft Yoga and Music included in our program. Other enrichment programs are available at a nominal price.

Our qualified teachers co-teachers and all our staff are hired primarily for their love of children. They are loving compassionate and have the patience to work with children.
