History
Our school started as a 1995 dream of my daughter Quanah an Electrical Engineering junior at Prairie View A&M and of myself. Quanah was killed in a car accident in Prairie View the next year. Our desire was to promote positive mindsets instill Christian values develop self-reliance and encourage academic excellence!
Our classroom teachers are certified. They hold bachelor and higher degrees and our school is licensed by the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services and a member of the Association of Christian Schools International.
Calendar
- We follow a two-semester four-quarter grading system.
- We have standard school vacations.
- Class hours are 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Extended day hours are 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Curriculum
- Our curriculum objectives are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
- Curriculum materials include the use of A Beka a variety of math books reading and writing workbooks visual aids internet electronic software and experiences of our teachers.
- Children receive a strong foundational program in mathematics reading writing science history/social studies language and personal computer technology. Foreign language comes with extended day school.
