Westminster Preschool

Westminster Preschool boasts more than 50 years of excellence in early childhood education. In 1956, First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn founded Westminster as a ministry outreach of the church and a service to the community.

OUR PURPOSE is to provide a loving, caring, Christian environment that aids all children in their social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development.

WE ENCOURAGE healthy self concepts and positive peer relationships through age-appropriate learning that involves a balance of "free-play and interactive structured learning time. Our meaningful curriculum is responsive to individual needs and facilitates childrens’ knowledge of the world around them, while building a strong foundation for reading and math skills. We offer a weekly music session for ages 3,4 and 5 with gym for 4 and 5-year olds.
