Hope Montessori School began with a dream, one teacher, one assistant and a group of fifteen students. It soon grew into a bustling school of sixty five students, five staff members and the first teacher found herself becoming an administrator rather than a teacher. Not wanting to lose sight of the original dream, Hope Montessori School downsized after seven years and is once again one teacher, one assistant and is licensed by the State of Arizona for nineteen students.
Our school is unique in size and location as it can be found in a residential area and is attached to the founder’s home. Being attached to a residence gives Hope the feeling of a “schoolhouse” complete with two visiting cats, but it is still very separate with its own entrance and outside play area.
