Learning House at 1st Congregatn

INFANT/TODDLER – PRESCHOOL – SCHOOL AGE – BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL –
At the Learning House our mission is to provide an excellent ministry with Christian values for
the families in our community. We offer a safe and caring environment that provides quality early childhood
education that will encourage social emotional physical and educational growth in the young child.
The Learning House mission for quality early education begins in our infant room and only ends when our
school age latchkey child no longer needs care. The children we care for at the Learning House today are the same
children that will be shaping our world tomorrow and we take that truth very seriously.
Our focus is to nurture their ability to think dream and problem solve. We believe that learning is most effective in
environments that are secure and caring and that engage the child in hands-on learning activities.
We strive to provide children with the materials opportunities and nurturing necessary to master the
fundamental skills that they need in all developmental areas to be successful in
school and in life. These skills include large and small muscle control social
and emotional skills communicating thinking and reasoning.
