East Grand Rapids Public Schools is pleased to offer Three (new this year) and Four-Year-Old Preschool! These programs nurture the childs intellectual emotional social and physical growth. Our philosophy is that each child is unique and we strive to differentiate our curriculum to meet individual needs.
The preschool program is in session approximately 38 weeks and follows the EGR school district calendar. Please click on the brochure link below for information on the sessions available and tuition. Child Care options are also available starting at the age of two years nine months.

Our philosophy is that each child is unique and we strive to differentiate our curriculum to meet individual needs.
Our curriculum and assessments are aligned with EGRs Young Fives and Kindergarten curriculum. Preschool and early elementary teachers meet regularly to discuss curriculum assessments and
programs that will best meet the needs of the whole child. Zoo-phonics and Handwriting without Tears
are implemented throughout the year. Enrichment activities in the areas of music and Spanish as well
as educational field trips also occur during the school year.
