PRESCHOOL -
1. We believe the Bible alone to be the inspired Word of God the ultimate and infallible authority for faith and life.
2. We believe in God the Father Almighty who is infinite and eternally exists in three Persons: Father Son and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ His deity His virgin birth His sinless life His miracles His substitutionary and atoning death through His shed blood His bodily resurrection His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
4. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone and that faith without works is dead.
5. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary.
6. We believe in the Holy Spirit His present ministry is that of comforting indwelling filling and empowering Christians to live godly lives.
7. We believe that both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; they that are saved to the eternal life of heaven and they that are lost to the eternal death of hell.
8. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Education at Harbor Light Christian is defined as inherently different than public education in philosophy and content. HLCS strives to operate as an extension of the family and church. At all its levels programs and teachings HLCS seeks to:

1. Teach all subjects as parts of an integrated whole with the Scripture at the center (2 Timothy 3:16-17) 2. Provide a clear model of Biblical Christian life through its staff and board (Matthew 22-37-40) 3. Encourage every child to begin and/or grow in his/her relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). 4. Promote a Biblical and Christian worldview that envisions all that we are and do as sacred in our lives of service for the Lord’s glory (1 Corinthians 10:31). 5. Encourage every student to develop a love for life-long learning and to achieve his/her academic potential. 6. Provide an orderly atmosphere conducive to the attaining of these goals.
