Harrison Learning Center

At the Harrison Learning Center, our goal is to prepare children for their future by:

Supporting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of all our children; Enabling children to follow simple directions such as when to sit and listen; Giving children concrete knowledge that will enable them to visualize concepts taught at school; Encouraging a love for music and books; Enabling each child to be self-confident and to have self respect; Helping children to verbalize needs and ideas; Teaching children to work out differences using language and to respect others’ differences; Encouraging each child to experiment and to have the self-confidence to make mistakes.

We believe that child care should be affordable and accessible to all who are in need of service, that children have a right to a safe and secure environment which fosters social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and that parents have a right to choose their child care arrangements and that choice should be available.
