Helotes Hills United Methodist Church Christian Day School offers a Christ-centered developmentally appropriate play-based preschool experience for children three through five years old.
The Day School program is a ministry of Helotes Hills United Methodist Church. Through this ministry we strive to provide support for our congregation as well as the surrounding community. While the Day School provides a strong academic environment we do so in a way that allows your child to grow physically emotionally socially and spiritually in an atmosphere of love acceptance and forgiveness based on God’s love as a model for each of us. The goal of our program is to assist children in developing social and emotional competence and cognitive skills in a Christian-value oriented environment.
The Day School seeks to integrate a spiritual and Christian dimension in all areas of learning. Prayers are given before snacks and biblical principles are prevalent throughout the program. The children participate in weekly Chapel during which they are taught Old and New Testament Bible stories prayer and Bible songs.- Child Ages:

At HHUMC Christian Day School we embrace all children as unique and “wonderfully made” by God. We believe that well planned classroom environments are paramount to the success of a childs growth and development. In order to meet the
unique needs and interests of the children we teach our curriculum is designed by our own staff with a balanced focus on spiritual development readiness skills pre-writing skills social skills and self-help skills. Activities are designed to be age-appropriate and developmentally challenging. Our day consists of both teacher-guided and child-initiated indoor and outdoor activities. Your child will have the opportunity to build relationships and develop appropriate academic and problem-solving skills.
