As children and adults the attainment of a positive self-concept is the key to success and happiness. Parents and teachers have the responsibility to develop this early self-image among our young children. Every child is special and has special needs to be recognized and met at home and in school.

Yellow Brick Road Nursery School and Day Care Center provides a loving and warm atmosphere where each child feels special and important. The program provides a rich variety of experiences developing social, physical, emotional and intellectual skills. Each child develops at his or her own rate and is given encouragement and recognition for achievements. Our goal is for the children to not only feel good about themselves, but to develop a positive attitude towards learning through a stimulating environment where children are allowed to explore and play and learn through interaction with each other and materials.

Also at Yellow Brick Road we encourage parents to be as involved in our program as busy schedules may allow. Monthly newsletters are sent home highlighting upcoming events and classroom happenings. Family gatherings are planned throughout the year such as picnics and entertainment. We feel continuity between home and school is essential in order to provide the highest quality care for all our children.

Attending nursery school is a very exciting time for little ones and we want the experience to be positive from the beginning.
