The Beth El Synagogue Maple Stream Road Preschool provides a setting where children of various religious and ethnic backgrounds can work and learn together under the supervision of a warm and loving staff. We teach Jewish culture and celebrate the Jewish holidays and introduce children to the Hebrew language. We learn, as is appropriate to the preschool child, experientially. We sing, dance, read stories, act out plays and create art. All religious and ethnic groups can feel comfortable in our environment.

The Beth El Synagogue Maple Stream Road Preschool provides an early childhood program that benefits the child, the parent and the community.
We do not restrict ourselves to any one philosophy or outlook. We try to study and learn about all approaches in early childhood education and use those that we feel are best. We have a warm and nurturing staff who is creative, motivating and sensitive to the individual needs of the young child.
Our program provides opportunities for children to grow with other children in a setting conducive to the development of wholesome social relationships. We provide appropriate play experiences that contribute to the developmental needs of the young child. We provide opportunities for meaningful play that is based on the childs individual needs, interests and abilities; and that will build concrete foundations for future reading skills and other academic pursuits. We provide a creative learning atmosphere that contributes to the positive ego development of the individual child.
