Mary Proctor Randall Preschool founded in 1929 has been operated since 1967 by Hillsdale College through its Department of Teacher Education. Most courses leading to the Early Childhood Education endorsement on the State of Michigan’s Elementary Teaching Certificate are taught by the preschool staff. College students enrolled in these courses meet requirements by working with Preschool children under the supervision of their college instructors.
