The City of Pembroke Pines Early Development Centers are dedicated to providing a stimulating and enriching age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate education for young children. Our mission is to offer quality cost-effective professional services improving the welfare of our children empowering their families and strengthening our community.
The City of Pembroke Pines West Early Development Center had another successful year. With the addition of two new classrooms we have maintained capacity enrollment. We continued its participation in the Book It Club reading program sponsored by Pizza Hut the Swim Central water safety program and the Scholastic Book Fair. Additional activities included monthly field trips and on-site entertainment which educated and enriched our children.
Our school encouraged parental involvement by providing opportunities for families to share experience with their children. Our traditional Thanksgiving Feast was a great success. Our families also participated in the Hop Along for Muscular Dystrophy raising awareness and funds for a worthy cause.
Our dedicated educators and staff continued their professional development at workshops and courses held throughout our community.
