Home Sweet Home Child Care & Pre-school

Our School is unique. At most other day care centers your child will be confined to one classroom (playing eating and sleeping in this room) all day every day. If it’s raining too cold or too hot outside chances are your child may never leave this room. We think 12 hours a day in one room looking at the same four walls may lead to boredom and may not be challenging or stimulating enough for most children. When your child goes to Kindergarten they will be lining up going to their library cafeteria and other rooms. We want your child to be prepared for Kindergarten. That is why at Home Sweet Home we allow our children to explore and learn while using our whole school concept.

Our children love visiting feeding and naming our fish in our main entry. Each day our children go to our homestyle kitchen/dining area for their meals and also to create daily arts and craft projects such as ceramic painting. Our children can often be seen visiting our Library area for story-time circle-time and show and tell or you may seen them enjoying a puppet show in our pre-school room. We take all of our children outside to play or have picnics on on large shaded playground everyday (weather permitting) and our Infants enjoy stroller rides under our shaded covered walkway.

Demand for daycare facilities continue to grow day by day but all too often institutions are only able to focus on either allowing the child to enjoy their childhood and develop naturally or forcing the child to focus only on mental development in order to achieve high test scores later on in life.

Home Sweet Home Child Care & Pre-School is different. We promote physical activities in large open areas and a wide variety of educational games but we also have a small library and various arts and crafts for your child to unleash his or her full creative and intellectual potential.

Our goal is to promote every child’s developement individually using an appropriate mix of academic and recreational activities.

Monitoring Video Cameras

We have monitoring video/audio cameras in each of our classrooms as well as in our library area and our kitchen/dining room. With our state of the art infrared cameras we are able to monitor our teachers and children at all times (even during naptime) when the lights are dim.
