Spiritual development is Christ-centered and based on the Word of God, the Holy Bible. Denominational doctrine is not taught, but basic Christian principles are taught concerning Godly character.
In promoting social development, each day is planned with time for large and small group activities. Children are encouraged to share, make friends and take tums. We believe in using language rather than physical aggression in expressing ones feelings.
Emotional development starts with having good feelings about oneself. Activities, which provide successful outcomes, help children feel good about themselves. We feel that the process of an activity is more relevant than the finished product; therefore your child may not return home with a tangible item that reveals what he/she have accomplished at school every day.
Intellectually, children are encouraged to autonomous. We support the theory, learning by doing: solving problems, exploring, and experimenting daily. Language skills are enhanced through discussion throughout the day. We stress reading to children daily.
Physical needs are met by providing indoor and outdoor activities each day, which help enable children to develop their small and large motor skills.
