Preschool in Indianapolis, IN 46260
For more than 25 years the JCC has provided a safe and loving environment
in which children from diverse backgrounds are exposed to a wide variety of
life-enriching experiences. The Early Childhood program is a place of learning
influenced by its Jewish heritage and committed to the principles of social
justice and respect for the uniqueness of all individuals. Activities are
carefully chosen for specific age groups and tailored for individual
development. A separate enclosed outdoor play area ensures that your child
will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. Our warm and creative environment
fosters each childs emotional social intellectual and physical growth during
these very critical years.
We are committed to building a warm nurturing safe learning community
for both you and your children. Because of the popularity of the program
there are often waiting lists. Please enroll early. A JCC membership is
required to enroll. We look forward to welcoming you and your children to
our JCC family.

The philosophy of the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program
at the JCC is that young children learn best by doing. Learning isnt
just repeating what someone else says; it requires active thinking
and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand
about the world we live in. Our curriculum engages students in active
and creative exploration so that they feel confident in trying their own
ideas and thinking their own thoughts. In this way we teach them
how to learn a skill they will use all their lives far beyond preschool.
