Shalom Daycare has been in continuous operation as a ministry of Roberts Park United Methodist Church since 1994. Shalom Daycare Ministry accepts children from six weeks through five years of age. With more than 30 staff members our ratio of children to caregivers/teachers ranges from 4:1 for infants to 12:1 for 5-year-olds. The children have a structured schedule with breakfast lunch and two snacks served and time each day for supervised play outside on our fenced-in playground area.

We believe that opportunities for children to learn are ongoing and our programming and curriculum provide developmentally appropriate and age-specific learning opportunities for your child. In addition to traditional learning goals sign language and Spanish are also part of our curriculum. Children of toddler age and older participate in a weekly Chapel activity conducted by our Associate Pastor Kim King. Our goal is for children to transition from Shalom Daycare to kindergarten well prepared for future learning.
