We challenge children at all ages from toddlers of 18 months to Preschool and kindergarten learners using developmentally appropriate curricula based on children’s skill levels at each stage of life. Children learn best when they are loved, stimulated by engaging adults and activities, and interested in the subject. What better way to teach them than to ensure they have fun with learning?

“Play with a purpose” guides our unique age-specific programs and curricula. Each program is designed to move your child ahead developmentally, intellectually and socially in an environment that’s warm, nurturing and fun. Our goal at Rainbow Children’s Academy is to prepare children for elementary school, so readiness is a main focus for each of our levels.

Our center offers a freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and a snack observing state guidelines for balanced nutrition. These mealtimes serve as opportunities for learning social lessons and permit students to connect personally with their peers and teachers.

Teachers perform ongoing progress assessments by observing your child in his or her classroom during daily activities. These assessments are not the traditional tests, nor are they conducted one-on-one as in an elementary school setting. Our experience has shown that observing a child during his or her typical daily activities provides a more accurate picture of his or her progress.

Lesson plans are age-appropriate and are the building blocks for concepts the children will be introduced to in their first years of elementary school.

Our view is that every activity in which your child engages is an opportunity for his or her learning and growth. So when you visit Rainbow Children’s Academy and see children playing with others in their classrooms or quietly reading a book, you’ll know they are learning and having fun.
