We desire to help all children regardless of family religion or ethnic background to know God’s love. Our intent is to provide a place where young children can learn and grow in developmentally appropriate ways. Wee Learn Curriculum provides a range of activities which are designed to meet the needs of four year olds at their level of development along the growth continuum. Physical mental emotional social and spiritual development are equal in importance. The curriculum is developed around themes which provide opportunities for children to learn about God’s World and how to live in it.
Links to Literacy is a research based comprehensive curriculum designed to provide a strong foundation for early literacy development in preschool children. This curriculum is based on current research that identifies the following critical pre-reading skills: oral language development book knowledge and appreciation phonological awareness print awareness and alphabet recognition. It was designed based on the idea that there are four important program pieces that link children to early literacy. They are: Goals and Objectives; Learning Environment and Materials; Teaching Strategies and Activities; and Parent Involvement.
