As a preschool our role is a multiple one. We are a surrogate parent for young children for part of the day but that is only a portion of our responsibility. We understand that the parents of our students have entrusted their child’s earliest school experience to us. This is an honor and a privilege as well as a responsibility.
Preschool will be an extension of the full and happy experience in the home. It is also our policy to maintain open communication with parents with respect to their child’s needs.
We welcome any insight you may have regarding your child and we will endeavor to share and confer as your chiid progresses through the year.
It is the philosophy of First Presbyterian Church Preschool of Jupiter/Tequesta that early childhood should be a time of fun warmth security exploring and discovery.
Preschool children are creative and receptive. The staff strives to nurture and encourage these qualities in the children who attend.
All classes include daily outdoor play (weather permitting) and mid-morning snack once per week non-denominational religious class in-house field trips (visitors from the fire department police department dental hygienist and others) computers music special play theme days and holiday parties.
This Christ-centered preschool’s purpose is to provide an atmosphere that encourages social emotional physical and intellectual growth and development of the child as a whole.
Our staff of teachers have earned their Associates Degrees and/or Teaching Certificates and are all certified in CPR and first aid.
