We begin teaching children at an early age. Implementing sign language beginning with the babies we take it one “little step” at a time.

Once a child is one (1) year and walking we introduce the young wobbler to sitting at a table with their peers and beginning to do crafts and projects. While physical activity is vital to life we also believe that children need to understand when it is appropriate to wait for others. The goal always being to prepare the child for their next “little step” in our program.

At two and a half (2 1/2) we begin to gear the children to more “group” time participating in small group activities led by the teaching staff. At this age many children are not ready to participate in a chosen activity so we allow newcomers to make “wise choices” and slowly be implemented into group activity.

Once a child is three (3) we require that they participate in a group setting learn to make good choices and also begin to practice early pre-school skills. As each child does grow individually we allow their personalities to flourish while steering them in a positive direction in their development.

At four (4) we conquer many “little steps” while racing toward preschool graduation in June. We create our curriculum to prepare your child to enter into Kindergarten as a confident respectful person. While concentrating on the basic pre-kindergarten skills we also strive to teach self respect and independence.

Children who are in kindergarten or young 5’s are not forgotten in our staircase. Children in this category participate in our lessons for the supplemental half of their day. Children in grades one (1 ) through five (5) are given opportunity to work on homework before or after school and additional worksheets are available to them on a daily basis. During the summer months thirty (30) minutes of reading as well as standard lessons are also continued.
