Bright Start Preschool

Bright Start Preschool is located at Gashland United Methodist Church. Our resources include a fenced-in playground, a vast undercroft for physical education activities, such as preschool-sized bikes, parachutes, ball play, a large music room with plenty of room for marching and instruments for all, and an exploration room with many fun centers (housekeeping, computer, art, science, listening, dress-up, sand and water table, a puppet theater and library).
As a childrens ministry program of Gashland United Methodist Church, Bright Start Preschool strives to provide a stimulating environment that is structured to meet the emotional, educational, spiritual and physical needs of the preschool child. We believe that children are a special and unique gift from God. Our preschool program includes a focus on Christian development in the form of daily snack time, prayers, songs with Christian content, seasonal celebrations (such as Christmas and Easter) and weekly Chapel Time. We believe in the importance of positive early childhood educational experiences and the significant influence these experiences have on a childs future attitudes and successes in education and faith
