Grace Episcopal Day School, a church related school, provides a rich and challenging curriculum for students age three through grade five. Our student body reflects a diversity of cultures, races, faith traditions, learning styles, and perspectives. Small class size helps to create a nurturing, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to take risks and challenged to perform at their highest levels. Our traditional curriculum is reflected in our graduates’ organized approach to learning, thorough foundation in fundamental academic skills, and appreciation for music, art, literature, and languages.
We believe that educating students requires a close partnership between school and home, marked by open, forthright communications among parents, faculty, and administrators. Students and their families are welcomed into a close community bound together by a common commitment to academic excellence, joy in learning, and service to others.
Our school develops leadership abilities and healthy self-esteem as students are encouraged to take responsibility for their actions, take pride in their accomplishments, appreciate individual difference, and meet new experiences and challenges with confidence.
Grounded in the Episcopal School tradition, Grace welcomes children of all faiths. Our weekly chapel services allow students to explore their own faith as well as understand and appreciate the beliefs of others. We instill moral awareness and appropriate conduct as students learn to value themselves and others and see all persons as worthy in the sight of God.
Grace develops the academic potential of our students, imparting the knowledge, skills, and confidence that will enable them to thrive as they continue their education. We prepare our students to live a creative, productive, and compassionate life and to become contributing members of our world community, reflecting God’s light.
