My son was having issues at his old preschool (a very expensive city school) we moved here and sent him to sholom and I could not be happier. My son loves going every day, he's happy, well developed, he has friends and teachers that genuinely care about him. The school is clean, organized and homely. The outdoor play area is wonderful in the summer. I actually turned down a job that would have meant moving because I do not want to take my son out of this school. All kids are different and some adapt in places that others don't. My son hated his last school but there are other parents that are very happy with that place so we should remember that each child is individual.

speaking from experience sholom daycare is awesome all four of my children have attended and i never had any concerns. Some children take longer to adapt to new environments and may be the cause of you child crying. My children enjoy going every day and it is rude to bad talk such warm people

Shalom Day Care provides a warm accepting environment where the children may grow at their own pace develop their own identity and experience relationships with both children and adults.
Since children learn best through repeated hands-on experiences i.e. touching seeing smelling tasting exploring and experimenting our goal is to provide this multi-sensory environment for them by integrating mathematics science language arts and social studies into their daily play activities. Every attempt is made to know the children as individuals. We use observation and interaction to assess their needs and plan for their growth within the program.
Our educational and emotional goals are to aid children in developing a positive self-image self-discipline and confidence. This is done by providing them with opportunities for success and personal achievement. Our classroom environment will help develop the childs sense of order responsibility self-motivation creativity and curiosity which are prerequisites for a successful and happy life.
