First Presbyterian Children's Center

First Presbyterian Childrens Center is a Christian organization, summoned to serve the community by providing a stimulating nurturing and secure environment for children.

Opened in August 1996 the Childrens Center at First Presbyterian focuses on providing quality, developmentally appropriate childcare in a Christian setting, Our curriculum is theme based, with a vast array of opportunities for learning in centers, small groups and though exploration of our environment. All activities are age appropriate and designed to help children experience the joy of learning, build friendships and increase self-esteem.

Facilities include low built book shelves and viewing windows in each classroom as well as a variety of stages for supervised activities. Our fully fenced playground to allows children to safely explore and play outdoors using a variety of equipment.

Staffed by highly qualified, experienced staff we maintain an adult to child ratio that exceeds State of Tennessee standards.

Our center has received a Three Star rating on the Star Quality ChildCare Program Report Card each year since 2001.
