The Early Learner Private Preschool is an in-home tutoring service. Your child (age 3 – 6) will engage with other young minds preparing for Kindergarten with creative, educational and physical activities to support school readiness.
A tutoring session will have a maximum group size of 4 for incoming kindergarteners and 6 for incoming 1st graders. Small group size and ratio allow for practices that support positive interactions amongst children.
Our mission is to assist children by reducing anxiety for parents and children by helping them to prepare by experiencing “school” in a small group, controlled environment with an experienced preschool teacher.
Our goal is to help children achieve school readiness by teaching them academic content in a fun and inviting way so that children can eventually feel confident in what to expect and grow more independent.

The Early Learner Preschool is child centered with a teacher facilitated approach to learning. We incorporate various facets of the different teaching philosophies as there is no one teaching philosophy that applies to all children. Child interests are always fed as learning opportunities occur. In addition, new ideas are always introduced as we progress through thematic units. There is a balance of student and teacher directed activities. Our schedule is routine oriented. Children know exactly what to expect can anticipate what’s to come. Children are in a safe and predictable environment that provides emotional security and can transition between activities more easily. Mixed age classroom (2- 5 years) encourages leadership skills, mentoring and respect for others varied abilities. Having a positive preschool experience that is fun, engaging, with hands on experiences that are purposeful will help to develop skills in key competency areas such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, resourcefulness and creativity. This is a quality preschool program that lays the foundation for future academic, physical and social and emotional success.
