The Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley (YSB) is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation to provide day care, along with other child welfare services. The Kids’ Place is a program of the Youth Service Bureau of Illinois Valley.
The purpose of the The Kids’ Place is to provide a caring environment for children whose parents require care for their children.
The programs offered have been specifically designed to meet the needs of children in a comfortable and informal environment. Staff strives to provide learning and developmental experiences to supplement those provided within the child’s home and family life.
Policies and procedures of the program are explained in a handbook that each parent receives. These same policies are also listed on this website.We encourage you to read them carefully and to discuss any questions you may have with the Director or staff members.
