First Church of The Nazarene Preschool

The purpose of our preschool program is to lay an appropriate foundation for children to grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We hope to prepare your child academically for kindergarten. We hope that your child will develop self-confidence and independence within a safe environment and in an atmosphere of love. We hope that he/she will experience success every day and make many new friends. Most importantly, we hope to lay a biblical foundation for Christian values which is appropriate to the childs development and which will help him/her in discerning right from wrong.

GOALS
To create an atmosphere of love and security for preschool children to grow and
learn about the world God created and Gods love for them.
To provide meaningful play, based on the childs individual needs, interests and
abilities, that will build important foundations for future academic skills.
To provide opportunities for being with other children in a setting conducive to the
development of wholesome social relationships.
To develop responsibility, self-confidence, and independence with freedom to
make choices as long as he/she stays within the limits of consideration for other
people and things.
