The Learning Tree - Livonia North

I feel like I am leaving my child in good hands everyday. His teachers know his routine, I don't worry when I'm at work, and he is happy when I pick him up at night. While it's hard being a working parent, I feel good knowing that he is being taken care of and learning so much every day!

The staff is great with the kids. At all ages they have age appropriate activities to jump start their learning as youngsters to expanding their creativity in school age.

Security is good! Everyone is friendly, use organic foods, and clean environment!

We love the Learning Tree North! The staff is great and wonderful with the kids! It serves healthy food and provides a fun and safe place for the kids to play and learn.

They are healthy, environmentally friendly and provide an age appropriate educational curriculum. My daughter loves it and I'm happy she gets to enjoy social time with kids her age.

Very friendly staff. Good program and they focus on safety. Both my children (who are now 8 and 3) love it there.

We absolutely love the Learning Tree - Livonia North location. We have recommended The Learning Tree to multiple families in our neighborhood. And those families cant thank us enough and cant say enough good things about the staff and facility. We live in Northville but make the drive and come back each summer because of how great the staff is. Our kids look forward each summer to seeing their friends and former teachers. We looked at several surrounding child care facilities and none even came close to the level of care, attention and love the Learning Tree has. They also have a great facility, being a former school, they have lots of room and a nice gym for rainy day exercise. And from the high tech finger scanning security system to the easy to use computer check in process, they have all the modern child care capabilities. They also have tons of fun activities for the kids as well as multiple fun evening events for the whole family. Helicopter marshmallow drops, Santa visits, field trips, etc. They also take the job of caring for your child very seriously. Besides being proactive about health warnings and messages they have a great lunch and snack program based on organic and very healthy choices. 11 out of 10. A+

My son has a great time at The Learning Tree. The facility is secure, with fingerprint entry. The security of my child is really important to me. I feel really good knowing he is with such loving caregivers, and the all-organic menu is icing on the cake.

Our experience with The Learning Tree - Livonia North has been exceptional. Our daughter has been going there for almost 3.5 years and loves it. She looks forward to going every day. The teachers are very caring and nurturing with our daughter and they have a played a significant role with regard to her development. The Learning Tree - Livonia North is a wonderful childcare center and we wouldn't trust our daughter with anyone else. We highly recommend it to all parents who are looking for a caring childcare center.

I need an article and it won't be enough, they are beyond great you can't meet the principle and not register your kid, you can't meet the teacher and not feel safe, they are a full package school. They maid me feel that my twins were so special which every mom will feel the same of the full attention they give to each kid. If it was up to me I will leave my twins there until high school :)

My two sons have gone to the Learning Tree for 4 1/2 years. They entered when they were toddlers and still continue to attend the summer day camp. We all love the Learning Tree! The learning curriculum, the facility, the food program and especially the staff have all exceeded our expectations! I would highly recommend the Learning Tree!

I like how personable everyone is. When I walk in everyone knows me and my entire family. I know my son is getting great care.

The Learning Tree is a wonderful daycare/learning institution I am so grateful I chose for my daughter when I had to return back to work. My child's development would not have flourished as much if I had went other directions such as a Nanny or any other daycare in my area. My daughter is now progressing well in elementary & her experience at LTN played a major role in her current success. Yes I would recommend LTN and any other location because their basic philosophy & academic dogma seems to work well.

So many reasons I would recommend The Learning Tree North. The staff of course is a major reason. They are all friendly professional and in it for the love of kids. Their Focus on Development in all areas for our children is another. My son has been there for almost 2 years since he was 1 1/2 and he is now over 3 and he is a happy Joyful boy who loves The Learning Tree to do Art and play and learn. It also helps that they prepare organic meals for the children which is just plan Awesome!!! My son Jameson hasnt had a Teacher there that He or myself has not loved! The daily emails I receive telling me what he has been doing, eating, and sometimes including pictures or Q & A's with the kids where I can read my sons answers to daily questions makes me feel like I am a part of his day. I had a friend refer me here and I have in addition referred other parents to join as well.

We love Learning Tree. We've been there for almost 5 years. It's a great facility with focus on healthy and happy children. Great healthy organic food cooked on site! Great place to exercise both in the summer and winter (gym). We'll be there for years to come with child #2.

We really enjoyed having our daughter enrolled at the Learning Tree North. It was a hard decision to leave. Their administrative staff was awesome, and I felt comfortable leaving my baby with them. We felt, that at the time, the staff was a little too fluid for our liking. Having been to other day care providers since then, it seems that staff turnover is the norm in most cases. The Learning Tree North provided the flexibility that we needed as two working parents.

My husband and I could not be more happy with our experience at The Learning Tree North. Our daughter is in Miss Sue's infant class and she, miss Maria, and Miss Torey are amazing and so creative! Sophia loves being there!

Our daughter was at the Learning Tree from 13 weeks to 2 years old & we would recommend them without hesitation. The teachers are caring & helpful, especially to a first time mom! The center has many activities for the children & their families throughout the year (e.g., Mother's & Father's Day breakfasts, Date Nights, Farmer's Markets). Having moved out of state & moved our daughter to another daycare, I can also say that the menu at the Learning Tree is amazing! I felt good about what my daughter was eating each day, knowing that the foods were fresh, often organic, and nutritionally balanced.

We have been with the Learning Tree for over 5 years, and 2 kids. Always a great experience - from the healthy meals, to the nice teachers and staff. Lots of extra events, and the classrooms have lots of new toys and lots of room for the kids to play. Highly recommend

This school is a fun, healthy and educational experience for children. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

There are so many things we enjoy about The Learning Tree - Livonia North child care center. The staff were so welcoming when we started. They make you and your child feel right at home. We love that we never need to worry about paying extra, everything is included in the tuition. The Learning Tree offers many extra activities for families to get involved in. I am especially thrilled with the frequent contact via email the center provides. We enjoy getting the newsletters that highlight a classroom and teacher and get a chance to see what goes on each day.

We looked at several day care centers and kept coming back to The Learning Tree - we felt more confident with the teachers, activities, programs and meals/menues. Very happy with every teacher we have had and our kids love it - they have been going there for 10 years and now enjoy summer camp!!

We stumbled upon The Learning Tree because it was close to work. We never expected that it would mean so much to us. I cannot say enough good things about The Learning Tree North, it was a wonderful experience for my son as well as me. I never had a concern about safety. I loved that the children were working in the garden and learning about health and nutrition. My son is now in second grade, not in the Livonia area, we truly miss The Learning Tree North! The after school care we tried was such a disappointment after seeing how high the bar had been set by The Learning Tree. I recommend them to everyone I know that's looking for a safe and loving environment for their children to learn and grow while Mom and Dad are at work.

Love the teachers and facility

The office staff is friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the emphasis on healthy, organic, food. My son's teachers have been very patient and kind.

The Learning Tree North was a great place for my daughter to learn and grow. She entered grade school with a confidence and knowledge to be one of the best in her class.

My child has been at the Learning Tree North since he was 8 weeks old. I have since moved a significant distance away, yet I continue to bring my child here. There is no place that has as high quality care that they do, even at higher priced places. The teachers are amazing partners in the care of my child, from the infant teacher Ms. Sue who assured me that the fussiness was just teathing and not a sign of illness, to Ms. Noreen who worked hard to get my slow mover moving faster, Ms. Erinn who helped us potty train Sam with lots of tips and tricks, to Ashlee, April & Brittany, who when my child started to really test his behavioral boundries, helped set up a consistent home and school program so that he would learn the appropriate behaviors. I get a lot of compliments on how well behaved Sam is, and its not a job I did alone or can even take majority credit for. His teachers understand manors, and insist that the children understand them as well. He is challenged intellectually and loved unconditionally, I know that even though I cannot always be there to wipe the tears or kiss the boo boo's someone who cares a tremendous amount for him is doing it and making him feel better. I know that my child is happy, when I get a hug, kiss and a "get out of here mom its time to have fun" push out the door. I cannot recommend the Learning Tree North enough, other then to tell my friends, who now take their kids there as well!

My seven month old daughter has been enrolled at The Learning Tree North for about two months. She smiles when we enter her classroom each morning, which makes me feel extremely comfortable dropping her off on my way to work. The lesson plans and activity sheets provided by the Learning Tree North let me know that my child is actively engaged and having fun while in daycare. The daily worksheets regarding eating, sleeping and bathroom activities that are completed by her classroom teachers keep me informed about her basic functions and provide a record I can rely on and take with me to pediatrician visits. I also find the additional articles/ studies provided by the classroom teachers regarding relevant topical issues, such as ear infections or car seat safety, to be extremely helpful as well. My child is clean and content when I pick her up in the evening.

All three of my children attended Learning Tree North and loved it. I appreciated the flexible hours, never closing on snow days, in-house/tuition-included hot lunches (organic and healthy, too!), and friendly staff. My older two children were most certainly prepared for elementary school, thanks to Miss Lindsay R. (My youngest is still in preschool, and he attends a different center now because we moved.) The in-house field trips, enrichment activities, outside playtime, and kind and caring staff are all things I appreciated about our experience there.

That the center is a very warm and welcoming. They provide top notch education to all of the children. Their meals at the center are the best out there (organic food at a child care center!) They put the children and families first.

We are a family that believes in conscious living. We are careful with what we put into and on our bodies and aware of how things affect our children's growing minds. The Learning Tree - North cares about these things too. They provide healthy and organic food, play-inspired learning, and gentle discipline. Every teacher my children have had has been fantastic, and the administration is friendly, professional, flexible, and encourages communication. The safety protocols in place at The Learning Tree - North make me feel confident that my children will always be safe there. I love that the teachers and staff regularly attend workshops and classes; that older classes take field trips; that the center is peanut free; that families are celebrated with Parents' Breakfast, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.; and that holidays are celebrated with fun ideas like a helicopter drop on Halloween. I have, and will continue to, highly recommend The Learning Tree - North!

Great staff, secure environment.

Learning Tree has brought my daughter out of her shell and given her confidence about herself and feelings toward school. The staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. Always available and willing to help.

The Learning Tree has provided my child with a loving, nurturing, learning environment from infancy to Pre-K. We fell upon this center simply by proximity to our house but feel we are truly blessed to have found such a wonderful child care learning center. The Learning Tree is truly the best!

My daughter has the best teachers in her infant classroom. They play games, learn, do arts and crafts, and go for buggy rides. The teachers love their job and the babies and she enjoys going there every morning.

The Learning Tree is a great place. They care about the children and the organic food and green chemicals are a bonus.

The teachers & directors are friendly, engaged and have a vested interest in the development, safety & health of the children. They go the extra inch to show their appreciation to the parents (IE: Mother's Day Breakfast, Father's Day BBQ, Date Night...etc). They go above and beyond with extra-curricular activities such as the Halloween Helicopter drop, Easter egg hunt, field trips... the list goes on. The Learning Tree sets a high standard for the childcare industry and none that I've experienced come close to this center. My daughter will go to kindergarten next year ahead of her class with the skills she has developed through the curriculum.

The Learning Tree Livonia North is truly the greatest childcare center. We had both of our daughters at Learning Tree, a 4 year old in the Pre-K program and an infant. Our older daughter started there when she was 2 yrs. old, so we experienced all of the classrooms. I was extremly happy with the care and education that both of my daughter received there. My oldest is now in Kindergarten, and the education she received at the Learning Tree had her more than ready for the transition. We moved away from the Livonia area 4 months ago, and finding a new childcare center was very difficult; I could not find any center in our new area that offered as much as the Learning Tree does. The teachers at Learning Tree are amazing, I was happy to have them caring for my daughters and we miss them the most!

My daughter just LOVES The Learning Tree Livonia North center and we love it too! You feel safe dropping your child at this facility as you need codes and even a finger print to gain access to the class rooms. The food they feed the children is all healthy and they get my child to eat things she would never try at home. The teach her not only academics but also responsibilty and much more. They have feild trips which she loves because she gets to ride on a bus like a big girl. The school really is the whole package. We searched and interviewed and searched some more and this school was the best around and doesn't every child deserve the best :-)

The child care that you choose for your children makes a big difference in how they develop and grow. I could not be happier than I am with The Learning Tree North and all that they've done to help in the growth of my son and daughter. The teachers are excellent and so are the administrators. I appreciate that my children receive healthy meals, are challenged intellectually and given as much love as they need. I would highly recommend the Learning Tree to any parent that's looking for a top notch child care provider. They're the best!

Over the years I have used a home daycare, st school daycare and preschool for my son. Overall this is the most expensive, but I think it is well worth the cost for my daughter. She is in preschool and LOVES her teacher Miss April. She has learned many new things this year so far and I think is better able to control her impulse tantrums. While I loved her in home daycare, I do not feel they were as consistent with making her behave appropriatly. At Learning Tree I do not feel like she is allowed to get away with poor behavior, which is what I prefer. Let's be honest as parents who have children in daycare we can teach them manners at home, but if it is not reinforced all day at school it will be difficult. Have had some issues with my son who is in the before/after school program, but those seem to have been addressed and worked through. He also loves Learning Tree.

The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful. It amazes me how they know every single child's name. The way they teach the little ones has been so well thought out from learning manners at the table eating (not to mention the great organic food) to all the educational programs. I highly recommend the Learning Tree, your children will love going and you will feel confident in the care your children are receiving.

Our family has been a part of Learning Tree for 12 yrs now. After having worked years ago for a family member who owned several childcares in Wisconsin my initial expectations were very high. Learning Tree has exceeded those expectation again and again. There is no comparison to area childcares. They have a professional, loving, innovative staff that maintains those qualities every single day. I've trusted them with three children and would recommend them to every single person if asked.

My son started at The Learning Tree - Livonia North back in 2010 when he was just 9 weeks old. The staff was great in helping me with the transition to daycare as it's not always easy with your first. We thought the infant teachers were great and we would have kept him there long term, however we moved to Ann Arbor and it was no longer an option to keep him enrolled due to the distance.

First off I am a Social Worker so one of my fears were daycare! The first day I arrived at the Learning Tree I felt very welcome and secure. I am a big fan of how secure the building is and that there is even finger print access for parents! The first day I was able to meet the teachers that my son would be with on a daily basis and even leave him with the teachers and the other children while I did paperwork and he did GREAT!! I truly enjoy the daily emails and pictures they send out on a daily basis and I love how much my son talks about the center. They also feed him a delicious and nutrious menu. I love The Learning Tree and have recommended them to others and will continue to do so!

The learning tree was great. The center was always clean and organized. The staff was attentive and caring. The security measures were very good. I would recommend this center and actually miss my daughter attending there.
