Alice M. Birney Elementary School is located on a well-maintained park like campus in the Wrigley Area of Long Beach. Our safe comfortable neighborhood is primarily composed of single family residences.

Birney Elementary School offers approximately 750 students in grades Preschool through Fifth Grade a safe and positive educational environment characterized by a concerted team effort of staff parents and community members to support elevated levels of student achievement. We are extremely proud or the fact that our students have demonstrated consistent positive growth for many years. Our staff families and students believe in themselves.
